How many days out r u Hun? previous bander, now awaiting by pass or sleeve this year.

I was done Monday morning so 3 and a half days.. Xx

Having trouble sleeping tonight and these dvt socks are driving me mad. They keep creasing at the ankle and it is very in comfortable not feeling happy right now

awww hun hugs, nothing worse than feeling poorly in the wee hours. am cuddled up on sofa with hubby and puppy for company. uncomfortable but managed to doze for few hours. stockings not my fav thing but are staying up but a tad itchy, should e fun watching trying to change them later lol x x x x x love n hugs

I hate those socks! The creases are really annoying and they made my legs itch!

My legs started itching yesterday with my hairs starting to grow back lol feeling better now I've had a cry I'm just really tired today... Xx

Hi Kirsty!! There is nothing wrong with having a good cry!!! It is very emotional, and I remember in the early days, just feeling sad for no reason!!! Your hormones will be all over the place, what with having a big op, and time of the month!!! So just be easy on yourself, and enjoy your sisters company - it's lovely to chat to different people!!! And get plenty of rest to aid your recovery!!!

awww hun, there's nothing wrong with having a cry, its a major thing you've been through. I did the same thing a few days afterwards so you're not alone xxx It does pass, especially when you are back on the antidepressants xxx keep strong

i cryed every day for 2 weeks hun. its a major operation and a huge lifestyle adjustment, be kind to yourself and rest hun

Had a right good hour nap this afternoon, mum had to wake me up as I had visitors! Just had a shower and didn't realise how hard it would be, wasn't even in 5 min and didn't wash my hair, I cried when I got out! Changed my DVT socks and 4 dressings. It was 4 because I took one off and it was attached to another, and that was attached to another and so on... This is my biggest wound and sorest one. Xxx

Mine were bandages, but only had them on post op Wed & Thu, they were taken off Fri - thk God! How long do you have to wear them xx

oooh that looks sore hope your feeling a little more rested now hun. I didn't attempt shower this morning knew it would be far too much too soon. Hubby changed my stockings and feel more comfortable now, last pair were all rucked up and uncomfortable. I also changed a dressing which was a bit bloody, and that's my sorest but easing up a bit now until i move next lol get down chemist chase up them pills soon be feeling back to yourself again x x x hugs x x x

How come you haven't had anti depressants since op? Not good coming off quick Hun, not good at all. Hope u get some soon x

Just stopped taking my tablets for the op and haven't had them since, I don't want to risk tablets yet as was told they may be too big. I've got liquid form to start taking tonight x
