I used to cry all the time at nothing lol! So, mums just got her scales out and I've had to take them outside to get them to register a reading as the won't on her carpets..... According to these I have lost 5.9kilo / 13lb in 10days xx Kirsty

Thanks guys, past few days have been off yes but let's hope that was just a hiccup! I am feeling the bruising today, feel like I've been kicked a hundred times in my stomach lol

I NEED a shower but my mum and step mum are out! I need to be ready for 2 pm and my hair needs washing :/ I don't want to go in with them not here as last time was so painful I needed mum to help me climb out of the bath tub! Meh!

No not yet, mums only just got back.. Should have been going to a funeral but mum can't go now so I can't either xx

Aaahhh what a shame. I'm sorry for your loss, but I am sure whoevers funeral it was will be looking down on you and will totally understand. You need to look after yourself and don't do things (like having a shower with no one around) until you feel confident enough!! You don't want to take any backwards steps!!!

Thanks everyone. It was my next door neighbour's funeral from where I grew up. I didn't know about it as he passed last week, mum said she told me but I'd just had the op so it didn't register.. Xx

I've just had a long shore and washed my hair and had my dressing changed again.. The wounds are looking lovely!

Why your arm?? I got told tummy only? I have had then everyday since my op, had op on 3rd but had to have 2 a day since I got home last Wednesday... I finish them on Friday xx

It's weird eh! I've only ever had them in my thighs but I was on the ward earlier today getting booked in for my bypass tomorrow and the nurse stuck one in my arm! X

Oh god i feel for you kirsty 2 a day? mine one a day since i left hospital, had the first in recovery. My last one is tomorrow yay will be so pleased, that has been the wost for me. Hubby offered to do them, just as well cos i would never had done it. Thought the first morning i was going to have to go docs for them to do it lol its not that they hurt.......... nippy as laura says, it was just the thought, i have pinched the skin and hid behind a pillow so not to see lol. The tip laura is not to rub it afterwards The first one hubby gave me was worst, bit rough handed made me bleed, but has gotten much better since. I now have a cute little smile of bruises under my belly button

Will try to remember not to rub! It's the first thing you wanna do tho isn't it?! Just give it a good rub. So would you say belly better than thighs? X

These were my bruises when I had my band 7 years ago. Ill show u the pretty ones when I had lipo pre tummy tuck, I looked like a bus had run over me :/ just for a giggle n make u smile

previous bander, now awaiting by pass or sleeve this year.

i had to have 2 a day too. was told tummy or thigh, i went with thigh after a few as tummy became so painful but leg didnt. think it must be because of stretch marks
