Having a sleeve!!

good news on some fronts but hope they get to the bottom of it for you soon

Thanks every one.

Well, I'm a bit baffled.. Just had a phone call off the receptionist at the doctors saying the the doctor will need to see me about me blood results. Bear in mind I had my doctor look at them yesterday and he said all seemed fine except the iron was a little high and something with my liver... Now I'm confused! :s only thing I can think of is that because I had them late Tuesday last week the ones they have read were my previous ones just after the op... And my most recent ones weren't back till today.. Hmm! Can't get me in to see the doctor till next Tuesday morning either. X

Hope everythings ok kirsty, hate it when receptionists make those calls and have to wait for the answers

Thanks guys xx

Think it's safe to say I've hit a stall.. Lost 0.2 of a lb this week... Desperately need to get back to the gym and shake up my food not that I know what I could shake it up with! Xx

Maybe try something more carby and up the cals for a bit? X x

I have tortilla wraps most days.. I'm wandering if it because I'm eating more carbs than I was.. I just don't know what to eat and I'm getting so bored and frustrated with it. I'm eating mainly wraps or crackers with salad foods, ham or some sort or sandwich filler thing or cheese and chicken.. I think I'm finding it hard because I hate cooking from scratch for one person and I just don't have the space in my freezer to freeze any more meals. I feel like all I do is moan about it :/ xx

I eat humus a lot with crackers and take it to work also one thing I like is to liquidise fruit eg melon peach and grapefruit then put it on a tray and when frozen scoop it for a frozen slush also freeze froobs down for a treat my daughter makes me sloppy joes messy but tastes good I had bean salad with Mexican chicken from Asdas it's slices with black pepper ryvita very nice lunch but I also eat lunch at 11 and 1 I split it into two small snacks find it better good luck

I'm only just discovering if I like hummus or not.. Trying a few different ones. I'm trying to add more fruit in but it's a struggle. I can eat melon and grapes fine. Don't really like strawberries an bananas anymore. Got some kiwis to try this week as I try to try Atleast 2 new things a week. Already tried pasta so kiwis are next. X

i have chicken everyday twice a day and its boring now tried my first strawberry from my garden gutted didnt settle at all so my 20 odd pound strawberries this year will get given away you could maybe try fish if you like fish i dont but its a protein and could work for a change

i was having the same problem hun, not knowing what different things to eat. ive switched from cream crackers to dark rye ryvita, and im drinking smoothies to get more fruit in me as ive gone off sweet stuff altogether. ive also bought some veggie options from tesco, frozen ones. i had spinach lentil and potato curry last night, it was really nice. its in a bag which says 2 servings, but ill easily get 4 out of it, if not 5. it says to stir fry it for 8-10 minutes, i just put it in a dish in the oven for 10 minutes while hubbys tea was cooking. i bought some meat free burgers and chicken style pieces too. Tesco have some interesting things, im gonna try the spinach and chickpea falafel next.

I don't go to Tescos much so might have to make myself go down.. I've had beetroot with some ham for dinner today. Was amazing!!
You guys a really helpful, thank you xx

And TMI time.. Just had THE BIGGEST bowel movement of the year! Nevermind since before surgery! I was having tummy pains like I had the sickness and diarrhoea bug but I'm so glad I've finally had a decent bowel movement as I had started to feel uncomfortable with the constipation! Let's hope I don't get bunged up again anytime soon though cause I'd rather not go through that every so often!!

Why don't u try a weightwatchers meal now and again? X

I think I'm going to have a shepards pie one tonight.. Totally forgot I had one in the freezer.. The last one I tried post op tasted vile so wasn't keen on trying any others just yet lol they all taste artificial now :/ Xx

the WW meals are really nice, ive had cottage pie, ocean pie, and i had a chicken in red wine sauce which was lovely too. definitely an easy thing to fall back on.

Also, thanks for the TMI lol :D xxx weigh yourself now!! lol :giggle:

In all honesty, I've not tried many of them.. Think I'll have to get a few different ones to try, will have to get my mum to take me shopping!

Tina, I don't have scales at home! The ones I use are at my local shopping centre - crystal peaks! I would love to weigh myself if I had some!! Ahah! I do to have any because I don't want to be able to weigh myself daily at home xx
