What your describing happened to me in 2009 following my rapid weight loss on oristat
I was crippled over in pain, thought it was a heart attack, radiated around my upper stomach and lower back. Kept happening a few times and each time in a&e I got buscupan injections and painkillers and it disappeared for a few days.
I then had another attack and the bloods tests at a different a&e (I refused to back to the same one) showed I was having a pancreatitis attack (get bloods done during an attack).
Don't want to scare you - but I then ended up in intensive care for 2 months as they didn't know what caused it. They kept scanning me and no gallstones - apparently.
I was then transferred to a specialist hospital and minute gallstones where found in my ducts and it's believed these kept tracing and aggravating my pancreas.
They removed my gall bladder and nothing since then in 2009.
My gallstones weren't visible in the gallbladder as too small. They only discovered them in the duct.
Ask them to test your bloods for pancreatitis and get moved to a specialist scanning unit. xx
I hope this gets sorted for you ASAP xxx
