Kirsty, I was wondering what made u decide to have the sleeve. Everyone's different n I'm interested in your thoughts. I've had a band but due to meds it had to come off. I'm now going to have a by pass 13th and if surgeon can't to by pass he will do a sleeve. Wondering how I will feel if this happens

Getting given over 100mls of soup to have and really struggling but getting told to have it all yet in the guidelines book I'm only supposed to be building up to 25/30mls.... :/ I can't fit it in along with all the water they want me to have.. Getting frustrated with them. It's making me want to be sick

you should be on unlimited liquid today, but i only had 2 spoonfuls of the soup at lunch and dinner and didnt have any more. have the smoothie in the morning, its nice xxx

I've not even been given a spoon, just a cup of soup with a straw and getting told to drink it as well as whatever water I can get in. I've probably managed about 20 ml of tonight soup, maybe 10mls at lunch. But with this evening I've also had about 15ml along with my fast tab dissolved in it... But still getting told to drink more soup and water... I've ordered banana and strawberry smoothie and going to ask for a spoon with it. Just keep feeling sick and having pains but again just getting told to keep drinking the soup and I am getting upset about it xx

Try not to get upset Hun they just want to help you recover if you can't fit it n just leave it! It's an emotional time but they know what they're doing they're probably all too aware that some patients could end up very dehydrated without them badgering them to drink more, that's how I would look at it x x

just tell them you cant manage it hun, if youre on a drip you cant get dehydrated xx im surprised because they were really nice when i was there xx
