I had a couple of crackerbreads during the soft stage and just chewed them really well! Not long now Hun! X

I'm tempted by bread sticks but will resist...

I'm off to my flat at one point this week to go see my cats for a few hours.. I'm terribly home sick today and miss them loads. Tia, my female cat keeps hiding when my sister goes to feed them, so I know she's not a happy girl so I want to go and make sure she's okay. They're my babies, so it worries me that she's not going to my sister at all even though she knows her... Toby, my male cat is fine, straight there for a love when they get there.. Plus I want to start going home and being on my own so I know I'll be okay to go and stay home and start to look after myself again.. It needs to be done and my moods are getting crappy because I need some time to myself without having my mum constantly making sure I'm okay, I know it seems stupid but that's how I am with my depression, I can't be around people too much, and when I am I start getting really horrible to people because everything just starts to grind on me and piss me off and I can feel it starting.. I'm taking my anti depressents in liquid form, but I've started feeling really low and it's because I can't just sit and cry when I feel like it, like I can at home... I'm a person that really hates being upset in front of people because I can't cope with the hugs, and reassurance, it kind of suffocates me... Anyway, whinge over.. Xx

Hey Clare, I'm okay today thanks, removed dressing off 3 that I had covered back up on Thursday in fear of them opening like the other one, they're looking great, feels really odd to have clothes touching them though!! Still have a dressing on my wound that opened as I've got to prevent infection..
I stressed myself out Thursday which gave me a few crappy days and the migraine has made me want carbs and sweet things but I've not caved! Feeling hungry today, so trying to keep on top of it. But I'm good other than that, not had any pain killers yet and I feel fine

Thanks Hun I'm scared about the one that opened... But I'm not bothered about the scarring, will be proud of them when they're all healed! Xx

yeah having them open is scary, i had one that opened and todays the first day ive left it uncovered. hopefully the steristrips will help yours close up. i ended up using a hydrocolloid dressing a week after steristrips came off as it was opening again and after a couple days it had made a world of difference

My belly button wound split & my left hand wound still not healed so I understand...v.frustrating. mine got infected bummer but I caught it quite quickly.
Don't let it get you down chick, your other wounds look great & you sound chirpier today - well done for avoiding eating wrong thing, you'd be well peed off if you had, great step for you xxx

Do either of you know how to get dressing adhesive off? Got loads on my tummy lol

mine washed off eventually. comm nurses used to use something called zoft on my daughter, she was constantly covered in adhesives

Mum is say next to me eating breadsticks and dips. I didn't even feel like eating a slice of pizza 4 days out but I could snatch the breadsticks out of her hand today! Urgh! Carbs, crunchy and tasty dips! Everything I want! Not long to go!!
