Having a sleeve!!

Thanks everyone. I'm very much looking forward to the break. Found out that the site we're stopping on is right next to the beach so I can go for a wander if I'm up early or if I want to be on my own etc so I'm glad about that :)

I'm almost 6 months post op from my Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy (VSG) and I have lost 5 stone 6.9lb in that time. I have also gone down 4 dress sizes on both my waist, and top sizes. I actually enjoy wearing clothes now as before I was guilty of just leggings and a baggy/comfy top. Now I take effort in thinking 'what should I wear today?' Personally I want to lose another 7 stone, to get me to the weight I 'think' I'll feel comfortable in, though it will be extremely strange for me being a 'normal' size. I am super proud in getting the opportunity to have the VSG and I wouldn't change my choice to have it. As now, and in the future I feel I'll be able to actually have a fun and satisfying life and do many of the things I want to do and have missed out on in my teenage and young adult life.

Thanks everyone xxx

I hate getting weighed on different scales!! I weighed myself last week and weighed 119.2kg. My gym instructor weighed me yesterday (she is going to be weighing me monthly from now on) and her scales said I'm 123.1kg!! Urghhhh!! Xxx

Just got weighed on my normal scales and my instructors were right. I'm 122.5kg according to today's scales. This 8 or so lb just keeps coming and going it's doing my head in. Cutting carbs out as much as possible from now on! X
