Help!!!!! Going Private - Minefield

My experience would be that
- wendy made me fell rushed on pre op appt an post op appt's. Like she didnt really care and that she was just 'going through the motions'. Even my mum noticed and we were both rather put off by it.
- after surgery no contact from team till 4 days later, not a txt or anything. I dont know what i should expect, but if i was running a business speciallising in life changing events. Then i would atleast call to see if u were okay, ideally id go as far as sending some flowers! Lol. After all i did hand them the best part of. £9k.
- not wracking their brain enough to see why i had numb yet painful legs post op.

Meh, maybe i expect too much. But i was brought up to treat people the way id like to be treated

Wouldn't that have been nice to get some flowers...but then technically if they did that they'd still be what we bought as built into price. shame your experience wasn't as good I've said from day one id love a breakdown of who earnt what of my money..how much goes to surgeon, theatre, hospital staff etc just out of curiosity!! Wonder if it's available anywhere....

I think we have to accept we're dealing with a business and not personal friends who know how to keep us happy. Some people dont have a great natural bedside manner either, and of course dealing with people who are undergoing surgery happens every day with them - whereas it happens once or twice to us! I suppose people can get complacent.
As for the flowers.....Nice thought for the girls but Id rather be woken with a nice cup of tea and a big fat Bacon butty! Now I know thats not going to happen but we can dream.

I phoned wlsg this morning with this unexpected bill ( like you Ive already paid the best part of 9k) and they said " Sorry that should have come to us. Pop it in the post and we'll sort it" so still no complaints.
Maybe its a man thing - You know us men never complain about anything !
