How Lovely

Hiya all

I went out last night to friends house warming, not seen some of them since before my operation and they said i looked amazing, was such a confidence boost i felt so great, in my new bra and new next size 18 top !

I can remember a few weeks ago thinking will never be able to enjoy the social side of buffets and nibbles, but guys you can, I had a fab time, had some chicken and mini sausages and pate, was so great to go out and feel fantastic, and this is just the beginning.

There is a wonderful life after weight loss surgery - so dont panic like i did. I have had bad days but just hope have now turned a corner.

Good luck to you all and here if you need anything, this site is amazing and i would not of coped without it xxx

One of the ladies at our support group on Friday evening said she loves going to buffet's now as she really can be satisfied by having a few tastes of different things, she doesn't need to pile her plate high or return to the food table after one trip. She had a sleeve back in February this year and it is good news for me as I fast approach my sleeve op, food is such a big thing for our family as my brother in law owns and runs a restaurant - thankfully, it's a tapas restaurant so every time we go a meal is like a big hot buffet!!
