Oh dear. I just manged to leave a totally waffly naff message on the hospitals answer phone and forgot to leave my contact number. My memory is getting worse and worse! Im not sure if its depression/antidepressant related (as my memory has been affected by that) or due to the preop diet.

Did anyone have memory problems on their preop diet?

hmmm, maybe, mind you i wasnt that good at remembering stuff before. But i do seem to have gotten worse lately.
Only small stuff though like mum asked me to wash her bedding for her and straight away i totally forgot. Remebered 2 days later though so it got done

I think it may be stress as well hun cause our ops are gettin close. xxxxxx

Could be stress etc yeah. I totally forgot borrowing money from my sister! I forget the name of things and so on!

My memory is terrible always... I can never remember my pin numbers... been like this for years.... they say that B12 is good for preventing Alzheimers... I'm wondering about starting on this! xxx

I know dear Friends, that you will tell me to write the pin numbers down... but then I can't find the thing I have written them on!

Your diet can affect your memory, so it could be the cause, but then again, getting older don't help and also being a mummy, I still get my pregnant brain sometimes !!!!

My husband said I had a play-doh brain just before (and for a while after) surgery. It does seem better now, apart from the standard 'I'm getting older and forget stuff' part.

If you didn't leave your number on the hospital call, phone them again, and pretend you didn't call before xx

What was the question again ha ha? I'm terrible but i think its the "funny age" syndrome with me, i forget things on a regular basis from calling people back, to where i've put things and lots of other daft things. Hubby says i'm an old woman now and its only to be expected ha ha x

Im already taking B12 supplements as Im already deficient (and vitamin D too) I got all the supplements preop because my body likes to be special lol.

Well I have the perfect excuse......Ive had 2 strokes .....I blame everything on that Only trouble is, when I am right about something and the family dont agree they say....."Ignore her, shes had a stroke!!" Cheek! x
