Quite often in topic's I see NAS juices referred to ,am I right in thinking this is no added sugar juices for post op diet?If so what do people recommend? Is soup suitable from day 1 or is this something that can be introduced after a few day's
Yes that's right. Nas squashes and still flavoured waters are good. Soup is fine for liquid stage, but you'll need to sieve out any bits. Be careful of tomato soup, as sometimes the sugar content can be high and it may make you dump
thats right, no added sugar. with tomato soup i recommend you do a ratio of half soup to half or just under water, yes its very watery but you probs wont dump on it cos of the sugar. i water down my fresh fruit juices too. basicly anything is ok aslong as it has NAS on it or you check the back of the pack and it doesnt have much sugar, remember to look at the 100g column. ive had vimeto, robinsons orange, ribena. at the moment im 3 months out and on abit of a fruit kick. think my taste buds have woken up. i like to drink lucozade sport, oasis and sometimes i flatten zero coke and diet iron bru and add ice
