Hi I'm Diane and I'm booked in for WLS on the 18th October. Very very excited about it all BUT worried won't have shrunk the liver and lost weight prior to surgery. I haven't lost weight in 3 years; I've managed to put it on though.

I'm thinking positive thoughts.

Im 10 days post op (band) but this place has been wonderful

Thank you for your messages. I'm having the band fitted at Dolan Park The Hospital Group. I decided to bite the bullet (Hey I was hungry) and go private. I got tired of waiting for surgery thorugh the NHS and whilst waiting I put on another stone so decided i had had enough and I'm paying for it.

Fingers crossed I can shrink the liver and lose about 5kg.

I've been reading the forums and everyone s really positive so I'm sure I will do it.
