Well, i've been planning for tomorrow and keeping myself busy all day incase i really suffer from sickness. I've just sat down to relax and the nerves have just started to kick in.

I've been wondering if you are taken to your own room to recover after the procedure, as I may have to wait an hour to be collected and I don't fancy waiting in the coridoor:fingerscrossed:.

Hiya just wanted to wish you all the best for tomo, let us all know how you get on. x

Well you kept this quiet didn't you? Good luck for tomorrow. You won't be waiting in a corridor for your lift - they won't let you off the ward until your lift home arrives and you have all your post-op instructions. And they won't call for your collection until they are happy to discharge you.

Let us know how you get on.

Good luck for your op ... FP is right, you will not be allowed off the ward without an escort so don't worry about being abandoned in the corridor :) xxx

Hi I was wondering if people were getting these done on nhs or paying the cash for them, I am considering a Spatz but am scared at spending £5k & losing little, regaining & perhaps excess skin. I'm not massive so to speak, 5'4 & size 16, bmi 34 - healthy weight said I qualify for band & to be fair it put me off, I didn't think I would qualify, it upset me.
I can't help but thinking if I just got the willpower & got my mind set then I could get walking, exercising & dieting & would come off as quick, but I've been saying that for 2 years, I'm scared my protruding belly will still be a skin over hang unless & do a load of exercise.

Grrrr it's just not knowing whether to spend the £5k or not? Anyone had it done in Birmingham?
