Phoned my PCT!

Sorry you lost your dog yesterday.

Regarding your surgeon applying for funding, it was my consultant at the obesity clinic that applied for mine so it doesn't have to be your gp. Hope you get some good news soon.

To be quite honest I am so fed up today, the woman from PALS phoned me today and she rattled off all the criteria that needs to be met for my PCT the list is endless. Tomorrow's another day might start to think straight tomorrow!!! hopefully;)

I know the feeling regarding the problems of the criteria for the pct.

Mine is bmi>40 with sleep apnea or diabetes. Needless to say I don't have diabetes but am in the process of being checked for sleep apnea and have been refused funding twice already. Hope you don't have too many problems getting your funding. Take care.

Thanks Sharon, well got phone call from the hosp today just to let me know that my surgeon immediatley wrote to my PCT, and they promised to keep me informed. (Fingers crossed it wont be to long);)

Oh Ellie I am sorry to hear that it is just so annoying, and highly unprofessional, for agencies like that not to return phone calls, or reply as promised Hope you hear something soon Maybe your GP could help

Jay xx
