Skimmed milk powder...

I was told some good advise and thought I would share, you may already know !!
But I was told that skimmed milk powder is good for protein, mix it in with mash and add to soups and shakes as it don't taste of anything!!!????

I have not tried it yet...... If you have is this right?
Thanks for the info :)

I use Aldis, and its a great, cheap way of boosting protein, particularly for banders who are struggling to increase the volume of what they are eating.

i've never seen this in the shops before where would i find it? i want to get stocked up before i go onto solids :) x

Co op do their own, aldi, lidl, Asda. Tesco etc

Then most the big supermarkets do Marvel too. But it's more money for less powder.

A great tip to remember. Can you use it pre op ?

It would not hold much benefit as you can consume as much protein as you like pre op.

However, you can use it to cut cals as a milk substitute. Or use it in milk on your pre op milk diet to up your protein and look after your muscles.
