staples post op

Hi all this is mainly for pre opers I thought it may help them see what to expect wound wise. May I add I have no pain what so ever from the wounds and it looks worse because I had a allergic reaction to the dressings this is 8 days post op

Ouch! Mine weren't anywhere near as bad as that - not stapled either - but glued.

Lucky you I bet glue is much better. the staples are doing my head in. I was tempted to take them out because they gave me the removers to give to the district nurse. However I thought its probably best to wait. They come out Thursday

I can honestly say though they haven't caused me any pain. The dressings allergy caused the only external pain I've had.

The staples are out feels alot more comfortable now x
