Sam , it really depends how much weight you are talking about . For me it was 7lbs which to me , in the grand scheme of it , was a negligible amount . I don't know that I would have done the same if it were a couple of stone or more .
Check your pct guidelines but not through the bospa site as that is out of date , which is what lead me to see the GP first thinking I was ok .

Just checked, its about a stone for me. Not that much really, but i know my back kills me over a certain weight, and i get pins and needles in my hands. Not good for work!
