one thing i guess i didn't realise was how much more mobile i'd become, i was struggling to do even the most 'normal' of things in honesty, i have no shame, but i was struggling to wipe my 'arris, i was struggling to wash properly...i could shower, the bath was a no no, couldn't fit in it!! struggled to reach all the folds and crevices, that was also the same for drying myself too, struggled to bend over to pick things up, tying my shoes was a real chore, getting my ankle up to my knee was like grab hold of my trousers and yank my foot up the best i could, walking was a struggle, not so much being out of breath cos i was, but the back pain, it was horrendous, carrying my gut around, i struggled to get in and out of my car or cab for that matter, went to spain last Jan, poured myself into the seat, and obviously had to have the seat belt extender, couldn't use the fold down table cos it wouldn't fold down all the way...off to Spain in 3 weeks, and actually looking forward to the plane ride this time...also reading all your other posts, most of your experiences i feel, especially the feeling cold, my hands and feet take an age to warm up, not bad circulation, just a side effect of not being able to get the food into us i guess, end of ramble!!
