Working from home after surgery

Does anyone out there that has had a bypass work from home? If so when were you told you could recommence work after surgery? All I do is some accounts, answer emails and be at the end of a phone!

I did some work for my American clients four days after my operation. That work was easier than taking care of my kids.

I have jokingly suggested to my manager that i will do some work from home post op! But this is because i am a control freak and don't just anyone doing the bits i do.... Saying that there will be lots i can't do because of patient confidentiality, am guessing it will be sat there waiting for me when i get back from my sick leave Oh well never mind.........
