I am due to have bypass in Sept. However, my pre-op is on the 08/09/11 and surgery on 13/09/11. No-one has mentioned pre-op diet as of yet. I don't know what to do having read many threads!! In fact, I have had no support..thanks

Oh Noo!! Sounds like a bit of a nightmare! You really ought to ring and check with them. If someone has messed up and not told you about pre-op diet, they might decide to postpone your op until you've done it. So better safe than sorry!!!! I'm sure it'll all be fine, it seems every team does everything so differently. But please just ring and check! X
