Thank you beautiful ladies! I hope it does start to move again. I feel deflated as I haven't seen a change in dress size either!

Hope the UK ladies have been enjoying the hot weather!

Neisie you look fantabulous happy bday!

Good morning everyone,

Sorry I've been missing for a few weeks but just back from my holidays in turkey. Went to the same village we have stayed in the last 6 years and I got many compliments at how well I look. A small reward for the hard work!
Well I am back home and the scales are being unkind. Like everyone I have over indulged, not with food but with beer and g&t (no slimline out there). So I have gained 8lbs. I have 11 weeks until the next trip so from today I am focused on what I eat, alcohol is out and salad, fresh fruit in.
Catching up on the posts I see we have been yo yoing a bit so with the lovely weather and the amount of wonderful fresh fruits and veg we need to step it up. Neisie, I hope you had a fab birthday. Banana you are doing well the last couple of months are the hardest it shift the pounds but stay focused. Eaglette you are doing well too especially dropping dress sizes, that's the most rewarding bit. Woody, how's life balloonless? Bakedbean you ok? Becci, how are you feeling now?
Well I have to run as it's first day at work and I'm sure I will have several hundred emails to get through
Have a good Monday everyone
Kxx

Bakedbean I'm with you on this. Already preped the salads to take to work. All junk food removed. I have 11 weeks till my next holiday so 2lbs a week would be my goal too xx

My weight loss stalled at about the 4 month mark as well I had lost about 2.5 stone at that point and there was still plenty to go. From reading comments on here I gather it's quite common. I changed my food around. Wasn't able to do much exercise as have fibromyalgia but people on here have had to up the intensity of that as well. I ended up losing 3 stone 10 lbs in 6 months with the balloon so it did start again bug was very difficult. Sending hugs as I know how hard it is but don't lose your determination and listen to your body, small portions of good healthy food and exercise and it will work xxx

Thank you! I've got the spatz in so 8 months more to go. But I feel rather deflated. However since my post I've gone from 106kg to 102kg. So that's bringing me to 20kg lost to date. I need to lose another 20kg in the next 4 months ( I set mini targets for myself) balloon isn't easy and sometimes I can't even tell whether I have it in. Thank you for your support xxxx

I'm currently stalled at 11kgs - I've upped my exercise and hope that will have an effect though it also makes me hungrier so that's a bit counter-productive if I'm not careful. :) For now, I'm enjoying the fact that I dropped a dress size and that the next size down is starting to feel looser. I think 16kgs is amazing - you can do this!

11kg is brilliant! Well done you! What month are you in? If I remember you have the spatz too? I'm so happy that you've dropped a dress size! I have lost 20kg and haven't really seen a change in dress size however I managed to fit into a blouse size 18 from primark! But not all the size 18 fit me from that store so I dunno at first I was like yaay mini victory then I was like uh-oh! Xx

Thank you kismet. I have 8 months left to become a new woman hopefully! Good luck to us all losing the pounds ;-) xxx

Hey everyone! In Dublin on holiday, was a good girl and had a salad for dinner. Hopefully it'll counteract the Guinness! Determined not to gain on holiday. Didn't being my usual gym gear but brought my Speedo so will do some laps tomorrow - will be nice to get a break from the weights and the treadmill. Hope everyone is doing well :D

Bloody hell neissie. U get around a bit. Lol Guinness is full of iron so doesn't count as a bad thing lol

Haha! Yeah, we travel quite a bit. The Summer is hard in Dubai, it's so hot and Ramadan isn't an easy time to be there - so little trips make it possible. Back up to the UK soon too, to say goodbye to my sister-in-law as we're pretty sure she won't make it out of hospice. My parents and my hubby's parents are arriving soon so I'm just in the lobby of the hotel waiting (impatiently); I haven't seen my parents in over a year!

Home from Dublin, fun but difficult trip. Having both sets of elderly parents with us was like caring for children. Gained some lbs whilst away but I'm in full diet mode now. Hubby got back on a plane to the UK within 12 hours of being home. He's back Sunday and then I leave for the UK on Tuesday. The day I get home he leaves for the UK again. Visas have to get cancelled and reapplied for, my passport is out of pages, we have no place to live and need to move in 3 weeks - which can't be done before the visas are done, which takes extra time bc of Ramadan, and we're constantly living in fear of that phone call to say my sister-in-law didn't make it through the night. Plus we have to pay at least £45,000 in one check for our rent and his company is messing us around with the dates on the housing allowance so looks like we'll need to take out a loan to pay rent. Argh!!!! Back on my anxiety meds to help deal with the stresses. Saw myself relying on food (binge, much?) and booze again and said no, not this time. The hubby being away makes eating easier - no carbs in the house. Going out with friends tomorrow and already looked at the menu and decided what I'm having: grilled asparagus with a poached egg starter and mussels in a garlic/wine sauce for my main - no sides. We want to start trying for a baby once things calm down and I really want to prove to myself that I can get down to goal weight.

How's everyone else doing?

And breath neisie. You are really going through the mill at the moment but it's good you are seeing the signs and not turning to food. Life has a habit of throwing several curve balls at the same time, they say it comes in there's.
I hope everything falls into place for you without too much more stress.
I am struggling a bit at the mo, I've found my sweet tooth and it's winning! Bought lots of fruit so trying to get it under control, but when you are imagining your strawberries dipped in chocolate it's hard!
Well off to work, stay strong and focused,
Xx

Oh girls it's so hard isn't it. I'm going gym 4 times a week and eating salad etc. made a pact with myself no more weigh ins till Florida but will go on my jeans! They r better than scales lol I want to take them off and have no red ring haha ooh neissie don't stress things will sort themselves out. Food n tablets won't fix it so stay focused love. Go for nice walks. Kismet when I want sweet I brush my teeth haha it really works good luck girls x

Hold in there Neisie you'll get through it! God willing.

I'm fasting with the balloon. I'm finding it really hard to fit in exercise during the day as I'm so dehydrated. Any suggestions on what I can do? And although I've been good my weights gone up from 101kg to 103kg in a week! I'm not even getting to drink my 2 litres of water a day due to the fasting time and closing being so close together. Another 3 weeks to go. I really want to get to 14st before end of July. Wishful thinking eh!

You will be going to bed on a full stomach fasting won't u so that's prob why holding weight. You will lose it once your fasting finished. I dunno how you do it my friend is fasting and he gets so thirsty. Good luck
