I'm under central Lancs PCT and struggled for funding but got refused with a BMI of 43 and no health problems other than the basics but no co-morbidities. Its worth trying though cos everywhere's different and there's plenty of us on here to try to help you as best we can

Hi new to this site but your post caught my eye as I have just been referred with a BMI of 40 with no co-morbidities from East Lancs PCT as i'm in Barnoldswick Lancs. Bit unsure what to do now as GP said referral would be to Alex Hospital. Did they refuse funding or is it the PCT ?
