Anyone have their gastric bypass at Luton and Dunstable?

Has my sleeve done there a month ago. Great and friendly team. Both the pre-op team and the surgical team.

Thanks Chris, who did your Op? I am with Mr Jains Team. I have to go back there next week on 3rd August for Pre op.. I live about 3 hours away but they have been really nice so far!

I had a bypass with Mr Jain about 5 weeks ago, a great guy, and a great team, you will be fine, your in good hands.

No thats not since my bypass, but have lost about 2.5 stone since the op.

But i do feel great and life is looking good, where do you live, just being nosey lol

Know it well, our firm has there depot at Ipswich, that's a fair drive for you to go for your appointments, but the end result will be worth the travelling for you.

if you get bored on the wards you can sit and watch the cars go by on the m1

Hi Angela, I had my bypass this Monday gone... and it's still early but i can tell you that I don't even know what being hungry is anymore lol... honestely don't know if it is because it's only early days but I can hardly put anything down... Everyone at the L&D team were amazing I had a great treatment, so you should not worry, as everything will be fine... all the best x

The journey is normally about 8 months, from the first appointment date.

nearly 3 years on and off for me although i turned it down the first time round
