August 2014 Surgeries

Hi august opers!! Well since the start of my journey at the beginning of August when i weighed 12st 12lb I am now 10st 3lb, a total loss of 2st 9lb which im really pleased with. My op was the 26th Aug where I weighed 11st 9lb, so post op that 1st 6lb which im pleased with in 8 weeks. I am now a normal weight for my height, first time in years, and at last am no longer binge eating, i cant manage more than two spoons of food!! And i can see an end to the yoyo dieting at last!
Im pleased i had the op, i do miss food though as i have said on my own diary, any meal can be frustrating, i have a few bits and im stuffed but I really want to enjoy more of the taste. I can only eat one thing off the plate, for example if i did a bit of chicken theres no point doing veg with it as theres no room for the veg! I can eat three small pieces of chicken and im done.
I havent been exercising other then walking the dog and my job which is pretty active, so i guess im getting enough there.
Thats my update!!

Yes I'm looking forward to swimming in Florida..I'm very muscular naturally, I don't want to look like she-ra!!
I'm looking forward to maybe one day seeing my six pack again that's under there somewhere!
I hate this weather for exercising I just want to hibernate and keep warm! Totally soft!

Hey August opers how are we all getting on?

Well its 9 weeks tomorrow since i had my sleeve, today im 10st exact and have lost 2st 12lb since the start of August.

I'm down 60 pounds since I met my surgeon on 10 July. Started LSD two weeks later, and op was 2 weeks after that.

Thanks, still hard to believe that it is really coming off!

And really well done for you, too!

Hia to all August peeps

I've not been on for a while and decided after a rubbish day yesterday (see diary) I needed to get my head back into things.

I thought I'd work out some numbers and put them on here so I can remind myself how things are going.

2014
May 9th 145.90kg
June 10th 143.20kg
July 2nd 142.60kg
July 27th 134.60kg
Aug 2nd Surgery Day ????kg
Aug 14th 128.80kg
Sep 8th 126.00kg
Oct ??? didn't go near the scales
Nov 9th 117.30kg

Since the op at 134.60kg to today at 117.30kg I've lost 17.3kg which is 38.06llbs or 2.71 stones...... in 14 weeks

So since my heaviest in May at 145.90 kg to today at 117.30kg I've lost 28.60kg which is 62.92 llbs or 4.49 stones......

It's going down..... or is my maths completely wrong???

You're definitely going down, and doing well!

As a reminder of myself to keep me focussed when I feel like I've not come far enough, I put together some photos as a comparison.

Maybe others who also (myself included!) feel their losses aren't quick enough might find this tactic really helps you see how far you've come! If you do, post yours, too!
