bad day

hi all need some advice please, i had my bypass on the 1st july and everything has gone really well, untill today whatever i eat seems to get stuck and i end up being sick ,and i also seem to be producing a lot of mucus after eating.even drinks seem to be a problem help please xxx:cry::cry:

Have a look there. I would suggest that you stick to liquids only for the moment and speak to your team as to how they would like you to proceed.

Hi Debbie, I'm sorry to hear you have been having such a bad time. I hope that Nic's link proves useful to you. I don't know where you get your information from Nic but you're a star.

I'm rooting for you. Sorry I can't offer any advice as I'm still waiting to see the surgeon. There are a lot of experienced people who like Nic are not selfish with their knowledge, so I'm sure someone will give you some advice which helps.

Hi I have had exactly the same problem, some days I cannot eat anything and bring up lots of mucus after eating ,
it seems to be meat that causes my problems, it is so gross and painful. I have started to take protein drinks if I am having an off day and stick to puree food for a day or so.

thankyou everybody for your great advice an support your all so great .i was told to stick to fluid for 24 hrs then puree for next day and fingers crossed it worked. you all deserve a medal big thanks luv deb
