shampoo?? shower gel?? they made me take a shower on the 2nd day so you'll need something for that. They provided towels at the thornbury, they also had little like hotel tolietries in the rooms. I would also take some sanitary towels as the op made me come on a week early as well. I took lip balm and face wipes and moisturiser and mouth freshener and didnt even use them lol

I'm washing my hair Monday morning and not planning on washing it while there, I only need to wash my hair once a week so.. I'll use the soap to wash my body. I was told no shower for 5days but I don't mind showering there. I'll get mum to take me to the shop for sanitary towels, I haven't had a period in about 6month and it was very light,and very rarely have them, but you never know... Xx

i came on 2 days after surgery making a mess of the bed, was so ashamed ( was still catheterized) the nurse told me its quite common for surgery to trigger mestrual bleeding.

The same happened to my sister when she had her hip replacement, it can't be helped! X

All packed up, don't think I've forgotten anything but I'm one to remember things I need last minute lol sat waiting for mum to come pick me up to go to hers. Very tired today, had 2 really bad nights sleep.. I guess Thursday nights sleep was the calm before the storm! X

I dont sleep very well tbh, haven't done for about 4 years... Think I'm going to have warm milk before bed so that May, fingers crossed help!!!
I'm off to the cinema with my sister and my nephew. I have never in my life been to the cinema and not eaten sweets, chocolates or popcorn!!! I'll be good though!!

So, my older sister is a lot better so I managed to get to see both my sisters and my nephew before tomorrow. Went to the cinema with my older sister and nephew too. I'm still feeling relaxed, getting a few butterflies now but it's all excitement xx

Good luck Kirsty!!!! I had my sleeve 1 month ago tomorrow, and I haven't looked back!!! I will be thinking of you tomorrow and wishing u all the luck and love u deserve!!! I am sooooo excited for you, keep us updated when u can - I was SSSSOOOOO tired after the GA and it took me days to feel awake- but that's the worst it got for me - I know I was lucky!!! But I am sure you will be fine!!!! Just remember to rest lots and don't expect too much of yourself.
