I wasn't given any on the same eve, it's to do with contraindications from GA hunni, I was same as you got nothing til following morning, if you ask at wat intervals yr allowed them you can ask :)
Rest up, and if you are unlucky with wind pains, breathing in thru nose out thru mouth thru pain really helps but u may be lucky & not get any! Fingers x'd hun xxxxx

I was given pain medication as soon as I woke up from the GA, they gave it through the cannula in my hand until I was able to tolerate liquid meds. There must be something they can give u!!! Hope the wind pain isn't too bad- I was lucky and didn't get any wind pain.
Hope u r able to manage a little wander later, that might help with the wind pain, and will give u a change of position.
Love sal xxx

Just had a little walk very sore, trying to drink dissolvable paracetamol. Disgusting. Burping more though x

i would ask for something else Hun, i was on morphine through my drip all night afterwards and was given tramadol as well as liquid paracetamol. Keep asking xxxx so glad you made it through Hun, it does get better believe me xxx

I had morphine all day yesterday. Have been put back on my drip nearly threw up with dissolvable paracetamol after 5 or so sips. They don't want me on no phone today so I can't get up and walk x

Kirsty
