I'm having to go to Belfast 11 days after my op, hope I recover quickprevious bander, now awaiting by pass or sleeve this year.

A few of my wounds are pulling tonight hurts to get in and out of bed!
My step mum tripped at the side of the bed and put her and on my stomach to stop her hitting the floor, (an accident though!!) literally an inch from my worst wound so thinking it's that. Thought I had made a great leap with no painkillers today but nope, I've had Tramadol and calpol since that happened

Yeahs that's what I'm thinking has happened... I'm just so glad she didn't put her hand on the wound, could have been much worse!!! X

They do have pain I think its because they are getting better but your staples will be out soon

It's not from the staples, I've been great the past few days and then my step mum fell last night while I was laid in bed and to stop her hitting the floor she put her hands out and happened to put on on my stomach an inch away from my worse one and since then they have been very painful again.. :/

If the pain keeps as bad I would give Liz a ring just to ask incase you may have hurt your inside near the new stomach

awwww kirsty big hugs your really going thru mill. i'm sure the tummy pain will settle back down again. I coughed early on and it hurt like hell because you tense up because you know its going to hurt, but after some pain relief and a couple of days im back to where i was, no better, i sneezed twice this morning and pain was minimal then the choc slim fast episode not much fun eh sending huge hugs, be gentle with yourself and get well soon x x x x

It's just not my day and not even 11am! The slim fast is the first thing to disagree with me. I've been coughing and sneezing since I came home, not ill though. But my tummy is just having an off day I guess. This time last week I will have probably just been getting finished off, and stapled shut!!

I bought ready made slim fast in all flavours today , bugger! I thought it was a good thing to have after op :/

i went and bought 8 tins of slim fast powder beforehand, and ive had 2 out of the banana, 1 chocolate and 1 strawberry, and i cant stand it anymore!! Lol maybe my sis will want to use it.....
