Having a sleeve!!

So bloody tired!! Been awake most of the night feeling SO ill with Gallstone pain. gunna ring the hospital in a bit to chase up my appointment with the surgeon. Been in pain since 8pm and its taken 3 lots of pain meds, anti-spasmodic meds, gaviscon, acid tablets and volterol pain cream and its only just stopped 10 mins ago.. Going to try for a couple of hours sleep now and up at 8 to go for a walk then swimming if I feel okay...xx
 
I turn 26 on Tuesday, and it will be almost a year since I went to the seminar for wls, eek!
I'm going to a spa for the day with my dad, aunt and uncle (it's my uncles birthday on Wednesday) and will be having a head, neck, shoulder and back massage! I'm looking forward to it as I've never been to a spa before! Think it's an all day thing, 9am to 6pm and will be having lunch there.. It's at Aquasana at Sherwood Forest.. Xx
 
You will love it there. Ive been twice, its a fabulous place
 
oooh the spa sounds just like the right thing to help you relax hun, totally jealous, have a great time. Not so good about you being in pain though, hope you get a appointment soon xxx
 
Ps I too have suffered with hair loss and luckily it is starting to grow back now. I'm taking selenium and zinc from Holland and Barrett, it seems to have helped and my fingernails are a lot stronger as well xxx
 
My aunt and uncle have been so they know it's great there.. Me and my dad have both never been to a spa so will be an experience for us both.. I am looking forward to doing something really nice for myself for my birthday.. Don't normally do anything and don't fancy going for a meal now seeing as I'm scared to eat meals out cause I seem to have the gallstone pain when I've eaten out somewhere.. But fingers crossed the lunch there will be something nice and light.. Though I had a small bowl of musli or granola the other night for supper and that started the pain off :/ can't win with it lol get told to stay clear of spicy/fatty food yet food that is supposedly good and healthy for you starts the pain!! Luckily I caught is fast enough I took pain meds, anti spasmodic meds and put volterol on my tummy and back and it helped really quick - for once!! Xx
 
Thanks ladies! I can't wait! Being picked up at 8am and the massage is booked for 11 so have 2 hours to do some swimming or something and then 55 min of lovely relaxing massage, then lunch and have until 6pm to do whatever around the spa..

Don't want to say to much information but, my best friend came to see me today (see him once or twice a month) and we used to date and are friends with benefits kind of still, and I'm just amazed at how much more confident I am with him, in all ways.. It's shocks me sometimes lol I never felt horrible with him, he's always made me feel great, safe, myself and I've never shied away from him about my body. He is even surprised by it.. A fantastic perk to the wls and so much more adventurous.. But you guys don't need to know that lol xxx
 
Haha lol what us like hun! Always knew there was more to you and your best friend than just 'friends' lol it's great you feel so good and why the hell not. Go get him girlfriend lol!
 
He's been mine for years, I just think he's scared of full on commitment with me, we don't live near each other. it's a very complicated relationship, were always on and off, but he always comes back to me.. I've never met anyone else like him, and no one I've dated never had enough spark for me.. We're best friends first and foremost, everything else is a bonus.. We've been there for each other through everything, good and bad. Like I said it's complicated but I love him enough to go through the complications xx
 
Getting really fed up of this gallstones pain. It's always at night when no one can take me to a&e' no currently have it and I feel so sick with it that if I could physically make myself sick, I would do!! Mum has taken all her sleeping and pain meds, step mum is currently on Valium for back pain and my sister has a poorly daughter in bed so can't take me either.

I just don't know what todo. I've taken all my meds - extra acid tablet etc but no joy.. Just want them removing already!!!!
 
So sorry your in so much pain could you call an ambulance or get a taxi maybe to a n e hope they remove it soon and you get to feeling better xx

I don't have the money for a taxi and refuse to get an ambulance and waste their time that they need for real emergencies.. I know it's stupid as I should really go to a&e cause no painkillers are working but I hate wasting emergency services time as there could be someone that needs it more than me.. :(

Hardly slept, still feel really sick and the pain went away for about 2 hours and has come back :( if it's not gone in an hour or 2 will be ringing my mum to come get me and take me up to a&e.. Xx
 
May sound daft but your pain is more of an emergency than all the Saturday night drunks filling them up for no other reason than they got pissed and hurt themselves falling down drunk if you was more local hell I would have dragged hubby up to have taken you hope you get it sorted soon xx
 
The gall stone pain is an emergency. I've been there!

The hospital can inject an anti spasming drug like buscupan and it hits perfectly.

I hope this gets sorted for you quickly! Mine turned to pancreatitis.

If you are in that much pain call an ambulance xx

Thank you. the thing is though, last night I wasn't in as much pain as I usually am, it was how sick I felt that worried me as dont normally feel sick with it, just the last 2 times I have and Drs, surgeons and specialist have all said if I start feeling sick etc it's progressing.. But the pain wasn't nowhere as bad as it has been.. It's that or the fact I'm just getting used to the pain.. :/ xx
 
If your in real pain then you do need to go in to A&E I work for Yorkshire ambulance and I assure you they won't mind at all
Go through 111 it's for none emergency and I work on that side
