Im now being told Im to thin :(

Good luck with the tummy tuck. I long to hear the words that I am too thin from someone other than my husband.

I'm so jealous. I wouldn't worry - a few lbs here or there is irrelevant. Wallis Simpson (late Duchess of Windsor) said you can never be too rich or too thin - sadly I've never been either.

Msb rapid weight loss ie reaching your goal quickly (only took me 9 months), can be a sign of high malabsorption rate or chronic malabsorption like I have. My team watched me very closely until I reached 2 years (funding for specialist aftercare here stops then) and on my last appointment I had a lecture about not losing any more or I would have to be referred back to them and would risk malnutrition.

Since rreaching my goal I have to eat a very high fat high calorie diet to prevent further losses and so eat pretty much all day. My weight fluctuates between 10.5 and 11.5 stone depending on how much I eat and if I am ill etc. I have ensure plus drinks now too to help take the pressure off.

Anywho, it might be worth asking about chronic malabsorption at your next appointment.

Sorry if spelling is off, had spinal surgery earlier and my eyes are still very fuzzy.

Have you been stressed out any more than normal Karl? My daughter is trying to put some weight on and she has the same problem. She will eat really well and put a couple of pounds on but then she will have an essay to do for college or something and she is a stress head and she gets weighed and shes lost the few pounds again! Cant believe any daughter of mine has this problem lol.....Hope you manage to gain a little again :D XX

Its always a little mad in my job Jac and I've been away from home a lot recently but you'd think that would make me gain weight LOL.

Shell after I spoke to you last time about this I went back to my gp and asked they did blood tests ect but said everything was ok and not to worry.

I also thought that care ended after 2 years but the nurse would of quite happly of discharged me at 11 months but the dr said no. If there is no change when I go back then all is well n good and my body would of stableized but if I've lost anymore they will start to dig abit deeper and ask to run more tests :)

Hope you feel better soon :)
