Flying

I have to fly sometimes with my job, and I have to ask for the seatbelt extension, they always bring it to me after everyone has settled in to their seats, then I become the cabaret, it's so embarrassing!

Then there's the passengers faces as I walk up the gangway, they're thinking "Oh! Christ I hope he's not next to me".:cry:

Then, after I've squeezed into the seat, I have to sit the entire flight with my arms folded so as not to encroach on my neighbours space

Of course I can't eat or drink because there's no room to drop the table down

I hope that one day I won't dread my boss asking me to fly somewhere.

Funnily enough, I actually started to write these down last night- ideas of things I would be able to do when I finally have surgery (and then loose lots of weight;-)
They included:
-To get on an aeroplane without having the embarrassment of asking for a seatbelt extension.
-Going somewhere nice and not being worried about sitting in the seats that have arms (oh the bruises!)
-Not worrying about getting stuck in turnstyles - this happened too!
-The doctor (and others) taking me seriously

I can but dream (hopefully not for too long though)

as for a brazilian, I'd love to have the confidence to bare all and get a professional job instead of going in blind with a razor and and needing a blood transfusion afterwards cause I can't see what I'm doing

I am flexible by nature. But the belly gets in the way. So I want to be flexible again

I am looking forward to going shopping and not worrying that they wont have my size in stock - previously size 28-30 already down to 26-28

And to make me feel good because jonah's mother taught him that sick people need presents he went out and bought me several new tops and some jogging trousers in size 26 and they FIT!!!! i wore them home on my discharge from the bypass

I would love to take the plug out of the bath and not have full bath full of water remaining behind me which rushes forward as i move to stand up....lol

i want to be able to go for a walk with people without stopping to look at stuff...which is just a ploy for me to catch my breath!

i want to be able to 'nair' my legs without having to open a second tube!

i want to be able to swap from night shifts to day shifts...i wont at the moment as i dont want everyone to see me sweating and looking the colour of a beetroot!

LOOL I'm a water conservationist, I hardly put any water in the bath tub before I get in coz once I get in I have a full tub for half the price

I'm looking forward to relaxing in a bath...and having the water cover my lumps! Oh and being able to get out a bit more gracefully.I imagine it looks a right sight seeing me stranded like a whale when trying to turn around to get onto my knees....luckily my window is too high for anyone to see my fat hairy butt waving about behind the frosted glass. Tidal wave Aaarghhhhhhhh! lol
