Looks as if healing well hon, hope mine are as neat! Although my belly would frighten you before never mind after?

I'm feeling really great on the Pre-op, drinking loads and loads to keep me full, but all in all doing ok. Got hubby to take photos of me from the front, side and back before (fully clothed that is)! And the image of seeing myself especially back and side has spurred me on - god I don't want to look like this anymore!!! Yuk! X

My work colleague/closest friend has sent me a get well balloon, get well soon tatty teddy bear and a huuge bouquet of stunning flowers with a card. I nearly cried! The lily in the centre has a pink crystal in it!! Truly blessed and really glad I told her.

Just waiting to have my dressings changed so ill leg you know how they are. One of them has come if at the top and its tiny! It's only 4mm wide, very straight and thin. Much smaller than I pictured in my head.

I done my before pics last week in underwear!! The glue has come off my main port scar nd one end hasn't knitted yet :-( oopppps I've stuff upstairs of I need to butterfly stitch it xx
 
Oh no, can you get hold of some steristrips, they might help. Butterfly stitches, if I were to be stitched it would need to be blanket stitches around the folds lol! Think I'm getting stapled, so hope it doesn't hurt getting them out, such a wuss!

Yeah I've just had some chicken soup and I've had 2 yogurts well 3/4 of each one and 1/4 cup of tomato soup so not doing too bad
My wound isn't too bad to be honest I'll just see how it goes xx
 
So true but if you tell them there good for them may leave them alone but then again they will eat them I have ambrosia light custard very nice and rowntrees no sugar jellies are best I think

That's a great idea Mark, lol
Think ill tell him my food will be full of vitamins and tastes healthy, he'll steer we'll clear! If that doesnt work i'll say it has medicine in it, just for women :) I love the sugar free jelly, raspberry mmm had 6 little pots never got to try even one!!!

So looking forward to my op now, hospital looks lovely and clean, very comfy. Was a bit concerned though as they had me booked for a repositioning of the band...wish I had a band!

I can see why that would be disconcerting!!

How's everyone getting on? The milk and yogurt diet is taking it out of me a bit but been really strict and stuck to it 100%. Only 3 days left!!

You got all your bits and pieces ready? I still haven't got any pyjamas lol, but I never wear them just a t-shirt and lounge pants, seemed a bit silly buying them just for one day (besides I only wear black and can't find dark pj's anywhere)
How are you feeling? Have you lost any weight on the Pre op diet? Ooh getting so excited now!!! What time you being admitted? X
 
They'll ring me a couple of days before to tell me when to get there, probably 7am I think so an early start! I lost 6lbs last week and only weighing myself once a week on a Sunday =) I've just ordered mouth spray, mint tea and soup etc for next week from Tesco online and already got everything else I think. I got some new pjs though somebody on here had recommended not bothering in case you get blood and gunk on them... Just need to pack it all up! Only 4 nights/3 days to go!
 
Nearly had a heart attack today (not literally). Paid for my op by bank transfer on tuesday and got the invoice only today and the bank sort code was different! God I thought I'd put money into someone else's account... Panic!!! Turns out they made a typo on the invoice... Phew, All's well and they have the funds so its all set for Monday! Yay!!! :)

I know, had to get a loan, never even spent that much on my car!!! That's so lovely your work colleagues being so supportive, I haven't told mine! I loved putting my out of office assistant on... Whoohoo. They all think I'm flying off to Turkey I'll have to visit the Turkish shop and buy proper Turkish delight and spray tan myself before I go back lol! :)
 
I told all of my work I work with surgeons too and some off them were really interested one of my faces thinks he's got a heart of stone and was so concerned bless him and has asked after me since bless him I'm back to it Monday :) and I know how you feel when you hand over that money!! Xx
 
I wish I had the confidence to tell my colleagues! There's one guy there who is a fitness fanatic and hates overweight people, he has even told me I will never get to heaven as "greed" is a deadly sin!!! I watch him eat crisps, cakes etc in work and I never touch them as he has knocked all the confidence out of me. (Such a hypocrit as he eats worse than me) I know if I told someone the gossip would get the better of them and he would find out. Likes to email other colleagues commenting on my size and he gets up and walks to the window behind me pretending to look out everyday just as I get my lunch out at my desk, so he can see what I eat, then emails others. Sound paranoid but its true, I've even seen the emails! Such an idiot!!! I've tried all the diets going and he's had sly digs at me by saying "another diet" so I'd prefer my colleagues never to know.
I'm dreading the Christmas night out, I won't be able to eat much which is good, but hoping they don't guess, as he'll watch my plate :(
 
Omg!!! Cheeky swine tell him to do one that's a form of bullying hun don't stand for it how dare he!! I'll come to your office if you like an belt him one wonder if he's ever had a dig off a fatty?!? What a horrible man he probably has a small willy!! Xx
