Questions questions!!!

I am now going down the NHS route rather than private because of the psychological element. I had a phone call last Tuesday to say they had a cancellation on Wednesday so I took it. I saw a female specialist at Treliske hospital, had my weight and height taken and saw a man to talk about exercise. The specialist said she is going to fast track me due to ovarian cancer and a family history of breast cancer.

My first question is, can anyone tell me what happens next?

There is a book called 'Weight Loss Surgery for Dummies' so my 2nd question is, does anyone have this book and is it any good?

Thanks

Debbie

I think it's a fairly generic book, and all providers/NHS regions seen to vary considerably. There's bound to be someone on here in same area as you, good luck!

I found discussion forums & the links to online articles much better than books. A lot of books are American which don't really apply fully here

Hi Gladys Friday, I'm just starting my journey in Cornwall and wondered how yours was going? My mum had breast cancer....is that a reason to be fast tracked?
