Recovery time after sleeve

Hi

I would just like some general feedback as to how long people were off work for after their op? The paperwork I have says 2-3 weeks but that seems really optimistic to me! My job does not involve lifting.

I'd like to get a rough idea although I know it will vary greatly from one individual to another.

Hi the hosp gave me a sicknote for 2 weeks, i went to my GP after the 2 weeks and he gave me 1 for 6 weeks, but i think i could go back to work now which is 4 weeks on Friday, xx

i had bypass 4wks ago im off work another 2wks not due to operation down to regulating my food pattern x

i had a sleeve and was back to my desk job 2 weeks later x

I was lazy and had 6 weeks, just because I was getting paid, but could have went back after 3 weeks. I did feel really tired at the begining, good luck.

i had a sleeve and was off 5 weeks, 3 would have been enough, i was still tired at 2 weeks
