Rejections?!!

Hang on in there and don't worry till the time comes otherwise you will all make yourselves ill. I know you might think its easy for me to say that because I've had my op but trust me there are many reasons for the refusals and every body's reasons differ.
Good luck to all those waiting and hope you all get your ops!!

I agree with Gaynor...

However, it would be very interesting to see any pattern forming from this month onwards..........I remember someone saying something about the beginning of the financial year and all the PCT's having plenty of money.

To put your minds at rest though, when I originally told my GP that I was upset that I was having to go down the NHS route, he said to me that if I were worried about using funds from the NHS, he told me not to worry as during this credit crisis it makes no difference, everyone is in dept.

~hugs~

seems certain areas are tightning there belts up :sigh:

certain areas r having high demands 4 referals gaynor, they have to cut back and the gp's know that they have a set number of cases the pct will fund, this is why its happening, demand for surgery is becoming over powering in certain areas of the uk and they have a set number once past that yearly funding number then they say no as no cash left.
