SMOKING ????

I had my bypass done at Walsall Manor Hosp and was never asked once to give up smoking, I even had one at 6am on the morning of my op and the hospital staff said 'make it your last before the op' but I didnt smoke for 2 days after just never thought about it in too much pain - sorry but didn't was to make out that you'll feel fantastic. Anyway good luck

If I remeber correctly I wasnt made to stop just adviced to stop as the chance of infection goes up dramaticly if you smoke. I decided that as I was looking to change my life I might aswell do it right, so I stopped smoking and drinking 2 days later after a drinking and smoking binge ............ lol. I havent touched either since.

Suggest reading Alan Carr's "Easy Way to Stop Smoking". It really helped me..

Mr Youseff teased me for ages about smoking. He wouldn't have it that I hadn't even had one ciggy since my first visit...lol
