I go in to see the nurse for my pre-op appointment on Tuesday

Thing is, I don't have my op until 13th September, which is 5 weks later. I'm assuming I won't be put on the pre-op diet next week? I don't think I could stand 5 weeks of that *lol*
Is the length of time based on your current weight? I'm kinda hoping so...!

at my hospital its always 2 weeks ,i had my pre op in april,so thank god they dont put u on it then,id not need weight loss surgery id be wastin away! lol ,good luck xxxx

At my hospital it's always 10 days, at some hospitals it's longer but if your hospital is generally just doing it to shrink the liver I doubt it will be for longer than two weeks

i had to do mine 2 weeks before the op.

I had to start mine 2 weeks before my op (still on it),nobody mentioned about that diet on the pre-op,I just received through the post a leaflet called " Pre Gastric Bypass/Banding Surgery Dietary Information" from my hospital.
