The post op diet is soo hard

I know you don't like milk, but have you tried smoothies made with yoghurt and fruit? You could thin it down a little with water or milk to make it more liquid? That way you would also be increasing your proteins. Have you tried alternative milks like soya, rice or goats milk. I'm still pre-op, so it might be worth checking whether you can have smoothies.

Don't be disappointed in your weight loss. The pre op diet helps shrink the liver due to reduced glycogen and therefore water. Your body will now be holding onto water and there will be some internal oedema from the surgery. This could be why the weight loss isn't as you'd hope. You've come a long way. Don't give up or spoil your chances of healing well now.
