Tummy Tuck & New Boobs!

I had my bypass in July 2013 and I have lost over 9stone (size 22/24 to 10/12) and had a breast uplift and augmentation last September. I am delighted. I was referred to a breast cancer reconstruction specialist rather than cosmetic person. This is because of the understanding of giving back something that has been taken away, rather than making the most of what you are naturally given. I can live with my other skin issues and cannot justify the expense, risk and hassle. xxx

I always knew that I would need surgery to sort my boobs and tummy out after such a big weight loss so I saved to ensure I could complete my transformation to the end. I think it is a personal decision and right from the beginning I decided that if I was going to have the bypass then I would also need to sort out the extra bits after! Everyone is different and I could live with the excess skin and saggy boobs however for me that would be me achieving what I set out to do 3 years ago

Hi hun yes got results Monday, all bloods ok iron still on the low side but improving with tablets so all good to go on Sunday 12th April! Staying in Birmingham Saturday night as not too sure what time they will want me Sunday morning excited but nervous, how you doing xxx

Aw that's fantastic news I'm so happy for you, I'm great thanks just taking things slowly still having problems with this seroma and a bit stiff at times when I've sat for a while apart from that recovering well and almost back to normal staying in the hotel is a good idea means your not rushing about in the morning and you can just chill xxx

I don't think 2 weeks will be enough to be honest what kinda job do you do ? I've been off 4 weeks already and just signed off for another 6, but it's because of the seroma they want me to see the surgeon before I go back and I don't see him until the 5th May. I do have a really physical job tho I work nightshift in a supermarket and its a lot of heaving lifting and pulling.... I'm enjoying the time of but kinda missing it too xxx

Hi Wow that's a long time! I have my own business but I am really hands on involved. It is office based so sat down most of the day but I work closely on one of my client sites which is a 45 minute drive so not sure if I will be back driving by then xx

Yeah I thought I'd be back before then too but I'm just enjoying it while I can yeah 2 weeks is to soon for driving my dr told me 6 because it's abdominal surgery but I drove after 3 it's only uncomfortable getting in and out the car now xxx

Thank you ladies I am so excited but very nervous more about been put to sleep. However I just can't wait to be able to wear jeans without tops that cover my extra bits and throw away these ultra padded bras too xxx

That's the only thing I wasn't nervous about i quite like getting put to sleep lol, it make such a difference yesterday we had lovely weather and I could wear jeans with a vest top it was great ;-) xxx
