What is "work"? Please define it. :)

And just to highlight this, tonight I went out for dinner, managed 2 small chicken fillets, a couple of spare ribs and then bang it hit my like a lead weight and I had a bit of an episode.

Stupid me had probably eaten too fast but I get a little stressed in restaurants.

See even when you think you have it down, it can bite back :)

How much have you lost so far Cazbandy? How soon after the op did you start losing?

Also do you take vitamin supplements daily now?

By the way, I went so Sainsbury's today to speficically buy some melba toast in honour of you Cazbandy ... lol It's been ages since I had any and wanted to know the score.

They're nice .... I ate about 6 slices / pieces  Can't believe you get full after 2!

I use the tiny thin ones and can do 3 but the bigger thicker ones its two max

It's a really good feeling once you get used to it, that you no longer are a slave to hunger and food.

But it can take a while to get there. The other day I actually said to someone "I am bored with food"

Now I never saw that day coming :8855:

Just over 6 stone and no vitamins needed, get all mine from the food I eat.

A bander shouldn't need supplements really.

The weight comes off in fits and starts, more rapidly the first few weeks after each fill and then levels out. There are no averages and I never compare. Just as long as it keeps heading down :)

If I lost 7 stone I'd be 15 stones. I'd be able to wear a size 14/16 skirt (when I got to 16St with CD I was able to get into a size 16 dress from Warehouse - I still can't believe it to this day!!). I can't even begin to contemplate that!

I was 24 stones ish when I started that was prior to the pre-op, so although its a brilliant start I would like to lose another 3-5 stones...

I had this dilemma. I wasn't liking the sound of having a bypass. It seemed like too extreme a proceedure for me. But the facts led me to the conclusion that it was what I needed. I only want to be on the operating table once, and I want the op I had to address the problems with food I was having. The bypass was for me. It will stop me eating sugary foos, with the dumping, and it stops me gorging. I think about me pouch before I put anything in my mouth, it really is a tool. And believe me, I was looking for any excuse to get banded rather than bypassed.
