i am almost 6 weeks post op and on a typical day i (try) to have...
on waking...cup of tea
breakfast...half piece wholemeal toast, or half weetabix, or half shredded wheat or similar
lunch...2 crackers, spoon of coslaw (sp?), few nuts
mid afternoon...few bits of dried fruit, or mini yoghurt
tea...half a ready meal, or half tin soup or half tin beans with sausage, or half tin ravioli or similar
mid evening...few grapes and small piece cheese
have 1 or 2 drinks of either tea, water, squash etc between each 'eat'...or sometimes a 100% pure orange juice lolly.
i have tried chicken and mince (in a spag bol) a couple of times and find i cannot cope with it yet...so i am worried i am not getting enough protien, so i may have to tweek things slightly.
