I feel like it. ( although that big picture of me in April was after a 12 hour early shift and then going drinking after work and travelling home at 11pm .... So I was mushed.... ))
Thank you though. It's so much easier to love who u are becoming when you don't feel like anyone is judging you for your weight insecurities. I wish I was one of the bigger persons who had confidence - but I didn't . I hid behind huge oversized jumpers and leggings..... Loosing 3st 11lb just means I can start liking who I'm becoming more. And I feel great having my nails done and my hair ... You socialise more. It's a great feeling .... Xxx

That sounds like what I thought for a while...I definitely became less sociable in last couple years die to my weight creeping up and always used to get my nails etc done, now I feel I'm getting back to that..hair, nails, lashes the works lol!! Xx

Yes I agree. Same here. Just want to look nicer as spent all this money trying to become happier with my weight issues. Now I don't worry so much about my weight and food demons . Don't even worry how I look now or what I wear.

I went shopping with my mum for first time in ages and she was getting me to try on all these designer dresses. It was nice to be a 12-14 size ..,. Crazy . My parents or family don't know And will never know about the WLS .

So pleased u are doing well and looking after yourself. Xxx
 
OMG!!!! The rain here is awful my little road flooded to all my grass at the front. My poor doggies have had to come in. Just went and supported the other running so I went on the bike coz I just can't road run. Only burnt 397kcal but it's better than sitting at home doing nothing I suppose. Miss doing the long runs that burn loads of calories but when I hardly touch 700-900kcals a day I guess I cannot expect to do that sort of excerise capability. Oh well.

12st1lb this morning which is fab! So near to seeing 11st something . It's just falling off now I'm feeling more positive and the new meds kicking in for my hand surgery :) whoooooo!

Off to make a wicked roast dinner now.... Will attach photo laters! Xxx
 
Ok - so need opinions-

This was my portion out dinner on a little side plate for toast etc ( this is my roast I served myself )

100g chicken breast. (119kcal)
2 florette broccoli (30kcal)
1 florette cauliflower (20 kcal)
Gravy (35kcals)
46g stuffing ball (60kcal)
125g roast potato in fry light spray (158kcals)
TOTAL- 398 kcal's


Then the other picture is what I managed to consume before feeling sick and left ....

So of my whole dinner in MFP states 398kcals and I consume a total of 634kcals but when u look at what I actually eat ?!?! What the hell am I really consuming calorie wise?!?!

Also does anyone else suffer really scary periods of light headed ness when they get up? Everything goes light, buzzing in my ears, then it takes all of 30 off seconds to finally be able to focus? What does it mean when this happens?

I get dizzy like that quite often which is not good as I am constantly kneeling and crouching then getting up fast!! My "dinner" tonight on night shift was slice toast with laughing cow cheese spread and a slice of ham. Mfp says 181 cal but I only ate just over half if it. My kcals for day are 714. That includes a protein shake. Xx
 
Even now looking at what I manage to eat Hun I don't think your doin bad usually with a roast I manage about half a chicken breast 1 roast potato and a scoop of veg so I think ur doin ok? X
 
Last night i went to my folks for roast dinner. I had a slice of chicken, half a small cauliflower floret, a spoonful of cabbage and 3 or 4 carrot sticks with gravy. My plate still looked full when I'd finished. I did have a low fat strawberry mousse too though.
There was no way i was going to attempt potato or sweetcorn in company!
 
Ok that makes me feel better.

So how do I get my calorie intake increased and how can I keep more down. I know my bands over tight at 5.5ml but the only good thing is I never feel hunger so it's good in Way and I know how it should work and died work I just need to reduce the pain side that I experience.

So I'm in my smaller pair of jeans and a size 12 blazer too now which I had from my small days. Which feels amazing and makes it all worth it.
Hoping that the weight stays off is a new challenge ahead for possibly after Xmas depending what weight I stop at and becomes my "natural" weight. In my dieting days I always stopped around 11.0-.2 mark as that was hard to maintain and I had to run a lot to achieve that. The WLS does make u think well what could I realistically get too.... So could I be well established in 10s??? Which would put me on the lower BMI scale with room for movement?!? The nurses at my hospital seem to think it's possible to be lower than your dieting days...

I also wonder how my band will be when I'm not so stressed. This stress is awful. Rowing with OH coz he just can't understand how hard I'm finding it all to cope. I feel so sh!t today.

Anyway. Off to get my nails done hopefully I'll have a calmer day .... :-O
 
If and when you snack go for something high protein which is going to be soft on your band like some fage yoghurt mixed with protein powder or cottage cheese with veg sticks something like that might help to up the cals a bit x
 
Ladies tbh in my opinion I think your calories may be too low if you are getting dizzy. It's not fun if you are too tight and you can do damage potentially. if
you don't want to loosen the band to ease the restriction, what about trying to get in some milky drinks or protein shakes. I know they are slider foods but nutritious at least. Xxx

No no no... Pls don't misunderstand. I am having a defill . This has got progressively worse over the month since my last fill and when I read my providers instruction they said if you don't report a over restriction in 48 hours you are liable to pay, now u was fine for up to 7 days then my month has just gotten worse and worse stress wise and I'm waiting till my next appointment to defill. I run such a busy schedule I can't just go into an appointment whenever when it's 80 odd miles from my home. So I have taken protein lots of supplements and try everyday to eat solid crunchy foods till 19th. This is not enjoyable. I dont want to be light headed but it's hard to tell what's good intake and band or what's the stress I'm under ?!?!

I really dint want anyone at all to think over restriction is a good idea . God no.
 
As you know i have an empty band but with stress this week it feels like i've had a fill and eating has been uncomfortable with indigestion............ so have gone back to very slow eating and as a result cal intake has gone downwards.......800 odd today, just got home from doggy walks and felt pretty light headed and shaky grabbed a slice of ham, which didn't shake it so a high sugar treat it was lol
If this is how i'm feeling right now, without any restriction......... blimey gal you must be suffering. Keep getting that protein in and wish you luck for your de-fill soon x x x x hugs
 
Big hugs. It must be horrid for you. I am in a different position, tying to maintain and the weight just drops off for the odd week in the month that I am tight. I actually try to consume more calories but from 'naughty' slider foods (yuk) to stop it, as I get frustrated that I cannot consume enough of the 'good' band foods. The other weeks I can eat loads. Hey ho, it wouldn't change the band for anything though. Just look after yourself Hun xxx

Thanks crystal- yes I must admit I do the same try every time to do the rules eat slow and eat the proteins and veggies... But I do every day done something like 150-200 that is naughty .... Like a ice cream or kinda (82kcals) but some days even they feel too heavy.

Yes flutterby I totally agree with what u say. I think it's just been a real steep learning curve, my bands so sensitive to stress. So how are u with maintenance? Still loosing? This happened to me on WW when I did it last year got to goal then went down by 9lbs - then put it all following hand surgery . Can't see that happening with my band.

This months been horrific ... And yesterday my world came crashing down again. Can't really explain but I'm not staying in the department I'm in. I finally had my dream job and it's been taken away, 9 months after doing it full time. I feel soul destroyed.

I'm 12.0 only 7lbs to my first target and 21-28lbs till im the lightest ever!!!! Hummmm my OH said to me you could even see the 9s!!! I said yes with a BMI of 18!!!! Could u imagine I'd be emaciated!!??

He's doing really well now - his head has clicked into diet mode and he's using MFP correctly . I cook him dinners every night and he isn't gorging on alcohol or sh!t every night. Wonder if not having the crap in the house is what's also making my weight drop ...
 
Hi guys, went shopping to feel better and brought yet more Pandora charms. Love my bracelet. Had a third of an iced mango drink 86 kcal's and come home and cooked lunch.... Omelette. One egg one bacon no fat 10g of cheese 1/2 mushroom -220 kcal's ..... I ate it all .... Yaye! Stayed down too!!!! :-D

Trying to stay positive ESP when I wore my new size 12 phase 8 jumper ... And looked nice with no make up. Life could be worse right?!? It's just a job .....

Well my goal was 12stones and that looks good on me ... A curvy size 12. The weight just kept dropping off once I upped my calories to try to maintain as I. Think I improved my metabolism. Nowadays I maintain between 9 5 and 9 12 ... I look better in my face when I weigh a bit more in all honesty and I would be fine with gaining a few pounds if it was from the right sorts of foods ... :rolleyes: the only way I can gain loads of weight is on holiday from drinking cocktails or by eating lots of sweets/chocolate but I cannot do that every day anymore.

A bmi of 18 would be a real skinny mini size for you :eek: I hope you get out of your work hole soon. Happiness helps positivity/focus for sure xxx

And think about all the stress today I've managed to get some calories in and wear another pair of small jeans! Whoooo! ... I'd live to be in the 9st bracket ... Actually my lower BMI limit is 9:10 apparently!!! :-O hummmm...

This is tonight's dinner. Home made chicken curry and a popadum. ( these small ones are 44kcal each from Morrisons.

Hoping I can eat most of it.
