Hi Em

Seriously?! I dont see the ledge, the area needing correction or huge hips!

Losing a tattoo where you had it was inevitable.

I take it you are not 100% happy with the results?

Thanks for posting the pics, Im sure they will help others realise its a big op and not to be entered into lightly!

After having major abdominal surgery twice I really dont think I would put myself through a tummy tuck x

Hi Mazza,

The pics I uploaded before were in my loose, comfy trousers so I thought I'd show some in my day-to-day jeans to show you what I mean.

Hi Em, thanks for posting these, I also have a ledge, but I think mine is worse than yours!! Im 8 weeks post op now, and when I saw my surgeon last week he said it can take 6 months or more to see the end result and that the ledge will be due to swelling.

Having said that, Im very happy with the results as its a million times better than it was and I think I could get away with wearing a bikini now if I wanted. I might try and pluck up courage to post some pics of my own.

Are you wearing low rise jeans?still have swelling?
Tbh I would love a belly like your before pic,it wasnt folded double and hanging over your pubis!

Hi Em,

I know you aren't happy with the end results, I can see in your posts why you feel that way. However, without sounding very critical but maybe in the meantime you are going to have to wear a different style of jeans. You don't look half as bad as you feel, the operation was still a success from what I can see.
I'm sitting with a few extra pounds still, I'm hoping to get my tt done in December (maybe optimistic but what the heck) I think for best results you need to have as much weight off as possible. At least that's what my surgeon says, it makes it quite difficult to operate when it isn't just loose skin they are dealing with.

You have done good and it's going to take a while to settle down, I hope it all works out in the end.

Hi Em

I agree with many other comments that your tummy is looking really good but you state
"Front View Of Me Now. Notice The Area Needing Correction On My Left Side... And The Fact They've Cut My Tattoo In Half!
Obviously you are unhappy with the result and my observation (totally untrained eye! ) would be that your incision is not symmetrical and goes up one side and down the other. If you are not happy, as you say it must be put right. Best of Luck to you.
