The pain dont worry me its the nack of doing it haha stab push & hope for the best. Off to luton tomorrow for my yucky endoscopy. 2& a bit weeks OOooooo

The best advice I can give (although the hospital will tell you this too) is make sure you go in straight and come out straight. Don't do it at an angle. I must have pulled mine out at a bit of an angle and that stung. I also have six perfect bruises along my tummy! I must have been rubbish at it. My little goddaughter is diabetic too and says it hurts her if she accidentally pulls the needle out at an angle. She has been injecting four times a day since the age of six so I didn't dare whinge when she is so brave x
