Moderated posts

Hi,

new here, some of my posts came up as being "moderated" and needing to be approved by a mod, replies etc are showing up.

Why are some moderated and some not, is there any particular guideline? Also, how long do posts take to get approved and at what point do posts stop being moderated and appear on the boards?

Sorry for all the questions, but just wondering.

some of my others have appeared now, so guess they have been approved, just wasn't sure what made them moderated over others

It seemed to me as if threads I started, such as my introduction, were moderated but answers I made on other threads weren't. I could be wrong - and often am :-D
