Hi all, I just wanted to say how mad I am at an article I have read today out of a clip of a Wiltshire newspaper covering gastric band surgery on the nhs. Someone has left a very narrow minded view of gastric banding on 'tax payers money'. If you want a look search for 'this is wiltshire.co.uk'

It was the same in our local paper and I just replied excuse me I have paid my taxes for 25 years and I prob paid in more than I have taken out

In this life we will all come across narrow minded people i wouldn't waste any of my thoughts on them as my thoughts are here with the hundreds of many like mindered people who use this WLS forum. Yes we are all tax payers and the tax i have paid in over the last 30yrs is paying for my op so that's all i have to say on the matter!!!!!!!

I don't know what's the matter with me tonight i feel very militant!!!!
