I think he had a mum who made all his pureed and solid meals for him and made it easier that way. I know if i had someone making the food for me, it would be much easier as i wouldn't then be thinking about the next meal. I agree they should've shown the in-between bits tho, as it gives people the impression that it's the easy way out, and doesn't show any of the possible complications, or the general day to day difficulties that come post op.
