Taunton: keyhole RNY bypass barium meal

Hi guys, just interested to know how long after surgery before the barium meal leak test was done & average stay (if all went well). Cheers my lovelies!

I wish I could answer that one for you hun but as I have had different surgery private, I doubt it would be very enlightening if I did..you might have to be intrepid and be the first to get the info..have you called them? They are usually pretty helpful about advice and I'm sure they wouldn't mind ...save any random speculating then x

mine was done whilst i was 'under'! so immediately

I don't think I had a barium meal but they did use some sort of dye to check for leaks whilst still under anaesthetic. My urine was a weird blue-green colour for several days afterwards!

hi in taunton they do the leak test when your under and i went in on Monday and come home on Wednesday if your doing good after the op xx
