has anyone got lymphodema, and had surgery?

hiya, i have a illness called primary lymphodema, i have it for life, i was born without lymphnodes on one side of my body and in return i suffer with severe swelling in the legs tummy and hands, i also have a poor/low imune system so im prone to infections....
im waiting to have surgery i prefere to have the bypass as mr siguirdsson agreed with me the weight loss is more rapid so it may help with my leg and tummy swelling...

has anybody got lymphodema and had surgery?

Sorry i can't help but didn't want to read and run, not sure if i've heard of anyone on here with Lymphodema but i'm sure someone will have knowledge of this condition in relation to wls and will help soon x

I'm sorry hun I can't advice you there...But at least your surgeon is going to grant you weight loss surgery...if he say's it will help you, I'm sure it will.
