oh me nerves got me pre op app tom and 15 sleeps to op

im sort of nervous but looking forward to my op it feels v ery strange am finding loads of support on here even though i not really got a clue but managing to get about on the site lol, did anyone else feel this way x

I'm not at your stage yet, but I've got my group session tomorrow and I'm nervous and excited at the same time too!
Everything is going to start happening for you after tomorrow .....your new life is just around the corner.

I think many of us had a type of nerves. Some people are terrified. I was more nervous about the unknown.

the un known scsres me but i have come along way since start of my journey and feel loads healthier if i was having op 6 month ago dont think i would of made it through thanks emm to we all at diffrent stages but everyone is so nice and friendly i dont know how to add friends on here says friends but dont know how to use comp properly x

That's why I worked so hard pre op. Wanted to be as healthy as I could be post op. Well done xxx

Wish i could have foun this site before my op would have made my life so much easier, so many questions i would have liked to ask but had none to ask. Never mind almost 9 months post op now am doing ok part from geting bad tempered and over sensitive. xx

i hear ya Mrs D im on my pre op and having op on 23rd. I feel very excited, sometimes scared, be glad when its over and looking forward to my new healthier life xxx

Stay strong Holliepop you can do this deep breaths and keep looking to the future, eyes on the prize that new healthier, slimmer looking you, bring on the summer. By Christmas you will be fading a way very nicely. Go for it xxx

I have 4 more sleeps until mine and I'm completely unsure of how I feel. So many mixed emotions. We are all in the same boat on here, and the support is fab.

I rang Sharon mr el-Hasani's sec it was engaged for ages finally got through and she told me I was one of those picked this morning and emailed to chelsfield there were 25 sent this morning. I got put on the waiting list in march 2011. And she said I should get a call sometime this week for my pre-op date and my op would be in June! OMG I am trying not to get my hopes up too much but I think this will the longest week ever so hopefully should get my date very soon, if I don't kill myself getting to the phone every time it rings lol. X
